Earn Dream rewards through your employee's run
A longer-lived employee can contribute to progress beyond a single shift. In Airport Contraband, Dream progression rewards are based on the number of days an employee survives; the recorded emergency exit also awards bonus Dream Coins when you change employees. These rewards belong to the between-employee progression loop rather than ordinary money earned for a cartel task.
The developer's July 17 explanation calls the currency Dream Points. The collected tutorial transcripts use Dream Coins when discussing the employee-selection balance and the emergency exit. Keep that wording difference in mind when matching an older announcement to the interface shown in a playthrough.
Understand what the emergency exit does
Player experience in the prerelease tutorial shows a well presented as an emergency exit. Its description says that using it leaves the current employee behind, starts a new employee, saves pending Great Leader Checklist progress, and grants bonus Dream Coins based on that employee's survival days.
That makes the well an intentional run transition. It is not a way to collect a reward while continuing unchanged with the same employee.
The tutorial also temporarily prevents the player from using it while training is still in progress. If you are following that sequence, finish the required onboarding before assuming the well is immediately available.
A later player example changes employees after a longer run and carries a displayed Dream balance into the upgrade screen. That example demonstrates the progression loop; it does not establish a fixed number of coins per day for every run.
Spend permanent progression separately from run money
The official Dream Perks explanation describes permanent improvements for future employees. Its examples include increased Airport Health, additional equipment slots, and greater Reputation gains.
These are different from temporary perks purchased during an employee's run. The recorded prerelease tutorial says Handyman perks reset when that employee dies or is fired. Do not assume that ordinary spending and permanent Dream progression buy the same kind of persistence.
When planning your next employee, review the upgrade's displayed description. Address the problem that ended or strained the previous run instead of treating an early playthrough's exact prices or values as a universal current-version build.
Avoid confusing an example with a farming formula
The evidence supports survival-based rewards and the well's stated bonus. It does not establish a universal per-day payout, an optimal reset day, or a guaranteed fastest farming method.
A useful approach is to keep making supported progress during the current run and evaluate the employee change when the game offers it. The well's value is the documented transition and bonus, not a promise that resetting at a particular time is always more efficient than continuing.
FAQ
Are Dream Points and Dream Coins different currencies?
The official July explanation uses Dream Points for permanent progression, while the collected tutorial commentary uses Dream Coins for the employee upgrade balance. This guide preserves those source labels rather than inventing an exchange system between them.
Does the well keep my current employee active?
No. The recorded emergency-exit description says it replaces the employee immediately while saving pending checklist progress and granting the stated bonus.
How many Dream Coins do I receive per day?
The material links the reward to survival duration without establishing a universal daily formula. Read the amount displayed for your run rather than assuming another player's example is a fixed rate.
